Julia Calida (also known as Julius Calidus), joins the group under the disguise of a male and a piece of chainmail armour and hood which hides her females shapes during the quest Trial by Fire. She is the contact person as set out by Lucius Licinius Lucullus at the start of the quest and is the Sagittarius.
When sailing by ship from Lesbos to Asia: Minor, Julius become seasick quite easily and by helping then, it's revealed that she is a woman, but disguised herself as a man.
She joined the legion a few years before the storyline begins disguised as a man, after she has unintentionally killed her husband by kicking him down a staircase during a heated discussion. Lucius Licinius Lucullus, who sees through the disguise and recognizing her talent, then makes her a speculatore, the unit responsible for intelligence gathering and conducting clandestine missions for a legion.
