Grimulfr Eikinskjaldason, also known as Grimulfr the Tall, or simply Grimulfr, is an experienced warrior lives in the forest of Skjern. He is the uncle of the current thegn of Skjern, brother of Sighialmr Eikinskjaldason and former thegn of Skjern and he accompanied him on his fatal journey to the British Isles. Since he is unwilling to reveal what happened, nothing is known about the events which led to the death of his brothers.
Weapons[]
If you gain at least one rank in the dane-axe during the creation of the player character, you gain the Trophy Dane-Axe from the rack during The Feast. This axe was given as a reward for defeating your uncle.
During Lord of Seals, you can acquire Grimulfr's dane-axe called Misschief from Steinn the Clever by either killing him or buying it from after the battle for 1000 valuables. With diplomacy, you bring buy it for 800 valuables.
Second act[]
If you finished the sidequest Unwanted Guests, Grimulfr will talk to you the first time when you return to Skjern. During your absence, your mother managed to find out that those unwanted guests were sent there to assassinate your uncle. By driving them out or by killing them, you accidentally foiled this plot and thus possible saved him life, for which he thanks you by giving you his set of high quality chain mail and training the villagers for combat, which increases you power a few points.
